At Abundant Life Leadership Academy we work with troubled teens from Christian homes who are failing in behind in school (need grade repair and credit recovery), lacking motivation (only wants to have fun and hangout with friends), has no vision for the future academically, continuously making poor decisions (fantasy-based thinking), lying, and refusing to take responsibility for his/her self-centered choices (lacking emotional maturity). Troubled Teen Blogs is here to support the parent with the latest information about the restoration of the family. Our hope is to bring forth the best minds in the country and provide valuable insight and tools for parents to fight the battle within the home. Troubled teens have become experts at blaming others for their own mistakes (blame shifting), justifying their negative choices (justification), and have begun to act out in ways that are dangerous; sneaking out at night, skipping school, experimenting with sex (or, pornography) experimenting with drugs/alcohol, abusing drugs, and in need of drug and alcohol treatment. Unfortunately the parent seems to be oblivious, ill-informed, and has limited options to get the home and troubled teen back on track.
